I took voluntary redundancy from the teaching profession to pursue my dream of working with animals.  I retrained as a dog groomer and opened Clare's Canine Care in August 2017.

As the mum of three fur babies, Phoebe, Bella and Ozzy, I recognise the worry and anxiety that having dogs can bring in today's hectic lifestyle.  I provide a tailor made service that suits the demands of you and your beloved pooch.  Your dog's health and wellbeing is at the heart of everything I do.  My aim is to be friendly, flexible & fun and I will treat your dog with the same love, care and attention that I give to my own pampered pooches.

Phoebe and Bella used to stress when they had to go to the groomer, so when I opened Clare's Canine Care I was determined to provide an environment where my clients feel comfortable and a grooming experience that is enjoyable.  Judging by the way my clients come bounding into the salon, tails wagging, I think I've achieved that aim. 

 

I work in a calm, home salon environment and provide a one-to-one, personalised experience to all my four-legged clients.  My aim is to produce grooms that are easy to maintain and makes our beloved fur babies look and smell the best they possibly can.  My clients are with me long-term, so that I can build a relationship with them and their families.

Since opening Clare's Canine Care I have not looked back.  I feel very lucky, as I think I have the best job in the world.
